The land will be utilized for the construction of a massive 340,000 square feet industrial building. Ohsung Display Mexico, renowned for providing components for television sets, will now expand its operations to include the production of components for electric car batteries. This expansion is of significant importance as it paves the way for the establishment of a battery hub in Mexicali. The presence of Ohsung’s new industrial plant will create a favorable environment for the development and growth of battery-related industries in the area. Moreover, this remarkable development will create over 900 job opportunities, making a substantial contribution to the local economy. It is also worth mentioning that Grupo Cadena’s Park MXL development, where the land was sold, has approximately 200 hectares of land reserves available for new businesses to establish themselves.
